California 22nd Congressional District Primary Election Results
David Valadao is one of the few Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. But unlike the nine other Republicans who did so, he so far has not faced a major backlash. The primary will determine whether Valadao makes it to November, where he is expected to face Assemblyman Rudy Salas, the only Democrat running in the district, in a competitive fall contest.
